Job Title: Oracle Database Developer supporting enterprise critical production databases (Backfill Position)

Location: San Jose CA

Duration: 6 months+

 

Skill Requirements

- Minimum 6-8 years hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Developer supporting enterprise critical production databases

- Good understanding of the Oracle database architecture

- Work with the cross functional teams to set-up ETL environments and interfaces

- Heavy PL/SQL Database Programming experience

- Create unit test cases, perform unit testing, document test results and perform code reviews

- Strong performance tuning experience with Oracle 10g

- Excellent problem-solving skills under stressful situations to troubleshoot issues in OLTP environments

- Experience in monitoring database batch processes and suggesting improvements for stability and scalability

- Production support experience with high volume database environments

- Strong Shell and Perl scripting skills is a plus
