Developer
Location: Seattle
Duration: 1 year +
Designs and develops internal and external business systems/
applications, systems interfaces, databases, reporting, or business
intelligence systems, as required to deliver new systems functionality
supporting corporate business objectives.
• Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test new systems
functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to
include code builds and documented unit test results.
• Utilize development skills to build (code) and unit test new
systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables
to include code builds and documented unit test results.
• Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of technical specifications
and program code with other members of the technical team,
communicating design, requirements, feature set, functionality and
limitations of systems/applications to team and development lead.
• Build and unit test production deployment packages and
implementation plans for scheduled systems enhancements.
Minimum Required Skills / Competencies: Skills/Experience:
• 5+ years of Very Strong Application and Object Oriented Design
Development Experience.
• 5+ years of Very Strong RDBMS experience designing and developing
applications on SQL Server 2008).
• 4-6 years of Solid C#, .Net Application Framework experience
• 4-6 years experience developing complex multi-tiered applications on
Windows
• Strong experience in design and development of applications using
Microsoft technologies like Visual Basic, ASP etc.
• Unix Shell Scripting experience
• SQL Server 2008
o TSQL, creating/modifying complex stored procedures, functions,
indexing, triggers etc.
o Experience in Performance Tuning, Scheduling Jobs, etc
o Experience working on DTS and SSIS.
o Comfortable translating requirements into database designs
• NET/C#
o Strong in C# programming language
o Experience in developing .NET applications using Visual Studio 2005
or higher, specifically C# Winforms.
o Strong GUI design skills and Object-Oriented development skills
• B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or
equivalent experience.
• Preferred skills: - Wireless industry experience desirable
