Rate: $55 C2C

Location:  Charlotte, NC   

 

WebX Interview then a in person is required in San Francisco OR Charlotte, NC

 

Must be an expert in Dataguard, RAC, and RMAN

Line of Business: Internet Services Group

Job Classification:  Database Analyst

Position Description:  Experience Level: 4 year degree in IT or related field and 12+ years related  

   Database Administration on Oracle 10g and above, RAC, Streams, Dataguard & RMAN
   Advanced knowledge of DataGuard
   Hands on experience on oracle streams and Golden Gate.
   Intense production database experience, including on-call
   7+ years as an Oracle DBA, not a database developer
   Moderate shell scripting savvy
   Performance tuning on large (5+TB) databases
   Sufficient architectural knowledge to prevent unsustainable platforms from reaching production
   2+ years RAC/ASM experience
   RDBMS tuning experience (Oracle 10g or 11g).
   Strong knowledge of unix
   Hands on experience in writing shell scripts
   Problem debugging skills and interacting with Oracle support
   Excellent, clear communication
   Ability to distill complex problems into discrete action items
   High tolerance for unusual work hours
   Ability to work well with distributed resources
   Follow-through
   Attention to detail
   Serious multitasking & organizational skills
   Ability to not make the same mistake twice
