CA-Network Architecture, Design & Support

 

Project Description:

The effort involves the analysis and assessment of existing datacenter and office facilities. Based on the assessment, some which may have already been completed, work with the client team and vendors to develop a new (future) state architecture and environment.

 

Job Description:

This effort will involve the following:

1) Assessment, documentation and architectural design activities spanning all levels of the OSI stack. Deep and robust skills with L1, L2, L3, and FW up L7 are required.

2) Ability to work with Cisco, Avaya, Acatel, Extreme and other solution providers to the client.

3) Development of detailed transport achitectures, designs and validation of those with the client and vendor teams.

4) Ability to develop business case cost and solution implementation estimates.

5) Must be able to lead, communicate effectively and listen and accept input / feedback.

6) Must be well experienced and able to address the following technical elements:

a) Routing - EIGRP, STATIC, BGP (iBGP, eBGP), RIP, OSPF

b) Firewall solutoins and strategies

c) VPN solutions and strategies

d) Wired solutions (cooper / fiber)

e) Wireless - carrier based or WiFi

f) SONET and DWDM/CWDM

g) CoS / QoS
