Position: Tivoli Engineer
Location: ST. Louis, MO
Duration: 1 Year
Applicant will support the Enterprise storage team in managing backups and other storage related activities.
o Plan, implement, and maintain TSM servers in across a multi-site enterprise.
o Provide 3rd-level support for TSM servers, TSM Windows and Unix server clients, TDP clients (SQL and Oracle), TSM LAN-free.
o Provide on call 24x7 for TSM infrastructure issues, and data recovery requests.
o Provide assistance to TSM Administration team in defining new nodes, backup schedules and troubleshooting backup and restore issues.
o Administration of IBM tape libraries, EMC virtual tape libraries (VTL), Data Domain appliance, and associated tape devices.
o Perform periodical health checks for TSM servers and resolve all issues.
o Monitor administrative schedules, resource usage and adjust as needed.
o Mid-level understanding in Microsoft Window and UNIX (Solaris, AIX, Linux) system administration.
o Ability to manage TSM servers using the CLI interface exclusively.
o Unix and TSM SQL Scripting a plus.
