POSITION# 1
Position: CLOUD ARCHITECT
Location: MIDDLETOWN, NJ
Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire
CONTRACT TO HIRE
Job Description:
Candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills. Candidate should be a team player, comfortable working in a virtual team setting. Candidate must be able to work through various processes typically found in large corporations while at the same time embracing a fast paced agile environment. Candidate should enjoy/embrace change and be willing and able to adopt new processes and tools. Candidate should be able to self learn and quickly be able to come up to speed with new technologies.
Technical (Required):
Candidate must have experience defining / building end to end architecture solutions for large scale Open Source platform projects. Candidate must have experience documenting detailed architectures and demonstrated ability creating UML diagrams.
Candidate must also be proficient with Visio and MS Office tools. Candidate must have a good understanding of network topologies, operational hardware environments within large scale distributed deployments, and experience creating scalable architectures. Candidate should also have experience with Mobile Application Development / API integration (JQuery Mobile, IOS, Android, HTML5, Sencha, PhoneGap…)
Technical (Desired):
Candidate should have experience with Cloud based virtualization (OpenStack), Cloud based databases (Key Value Store - RIAK a bonus) and have a good understanding of cloud computing security based issues. Candidate should have experience with Ruby based frameworks, have participated in software development processes and have experience with test plan/case development. Healthcare domain experience including understanding of HIPAA rules and compliance is desired. Additionally, experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Chef and / or RallyDev would be a bonus.
