Position: Oracle EBS

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration:  4–6 Months

 

 

Oracle Application Technical Lead

This person will be a member of the enterprise application team supporting eSilicon's global implementation of the Oracle eBusiness suite. The technical lead will hold the responsibility of all technical development using Oracle technology and tools. This position requires in-depth understanding of and experience in Oracle tech stack, such as interfaces, forms, OAF pages, Oracle table structure, workflow builder, etc.

 

Responsibilities

• Work with end users in defining the requirements for various business processes
• Take ownership of specific project lifecycle stages and their associated deliverables
• Map/configure the business processes/flows in Oracle financials (eBusiness Suite)
• Perform root-cause analysis on incidents; recommend process and/or configuration improvements
• Provide training and support of Oracle 11i applications to end users as needed
• Work with developers to develop custom application extensions to oracle 11i
• Mentor/train junior business analysts in Oracle 11i technologies
• Test and certify Oracle application patches and upgrades for production release
• Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
• This role will require minimal travel

 

Education and Experience

• MS in CS or accounting or equivalent.
• Serve as a technical expert on Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations. Ability to represent the Oracle design and architecture and the business needs and articulate to other team members.
• Minimum five years of Oracle 11i Applications (eBusiness suite) experience with the following tech-stack 
• PL/SQL interfaces, eBiz APIs
• Oracle forms, reports, OAF pages
• Workflow builder, alerts, business events
• eBusiness tables structure use in finance, HR and supply chain modules
• Discover reports
• Performance tuning and database knowledge
• Knowledge of OBIEE and Hyperion application is a big plus
• Basic Linux development
• Knowledgeable of implementation methodology and development best practices. Understanding of change-management systems.
• Understanding of GAAP principles, SOX regulations.
• Should have a thorough knowledge of Oracle table architecture. Must be thorough in testing internal/external interfaces into and from Oracle applications.

 

Preferred

• Oracle 11i experience with semiconductor companies
• Oracle technical lead including experience in complete life cycle of a complex Oracle application project R12
