Position: GWT Developer

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 1+Year

 

Job Description:

NECESSARY SKILLS: a. Java Concepts knowledge b. Java Developer with GWT(Google web tool kit) expertise - Experience on GWT 2.4 or higher version - Experience on GWT - UI BINDER - Experience on RPC(Remote Process Call) - GWT designer experience c. Experience on Cascading Style Sheet( CSS) d. Experience with Java Script b. SOA services(WebService calling experience).

 

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS a. Eclipse 3.6 IDE or higher(or RAD) experience b. If has Experience on converting a Java Swing based application to GWT, that would be just perfect for this.

Responsibilities:

The role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop software across various technologies.
Will focus on the front end development of large scale web applications using GWT (Google Web Toolkit) technology.
Responsible for developing software for the internal platform front-end.
Work closely with global and regional development teams to deliver quality projects to agreed schedules
Development of work within scopes, tasks and time line
Able to work within tight project timelines and milestones within a global team

 

Requirements:
The development team is located globally and requires lot of interaction with remote team members. The candidate must have experience being in a fast-paced technology-based business.
Understanding business requirements
Coding of assigned modules
Performing unit testing and integration testing
Troubleshooting development issues
Executing projects within timelines
Documentation
Experience with the development of client-facing web applications specifically using GWT (must)
Good analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.

 

Experience/ Knowledge of the following:
Java / J2EE
IBM WebSphere Application Server
Application Designs Patterns
Eclipse IDE
GWT 2.4 version, UI BINDER, Remote Procedure Call(RPC), DOM

JavaScript, XSLT, AJAX, JQuery

Oracle
XML / Web Services SOAP

 

Required skills:

a. GWT(Google web tool kit) expertise:

- Experience on GWT 2.4

- Experience on GWT - UI BINDER

- Experience on RPC(Remote Process Call)/DOM

- GWT designer experience

b. UI Development expertise:

- Experience on Cascading Style Sheet( CSS)

- Experience with JavaScript, XSLT, JQuery

-  Basic knowledge of Unix scripts

 

Nice to have Skills:

a. SOA services(Web Service calling experience)

b. Working with Oracle database

c. Java Concepts  & Application Designs Patterns(AJAX)

d. Eclipse 3.6 IDE or higher(or RAD)

e.  IBM WebSphere Application server

f.  If has Experience on converting a Java Swing based application to GWT, that would be just perfect for this..
