Position         :   Lead QA Tester - Teradata

Location         :  Atlanta, GA

Duration         : 12 months contract

 

JobTitle:

Lead QA Tester -Teradata

 

JobDescription:

Candidate needs to have experience inTeradata in order to validate data

With minimal direction writes scripts andexecutes test cases during functional/system/integration testing.

Will analyze business and technicalrequirements to create detailed test cases/scripts.

Will write detailed defect reports andwork with developers and other project team members to resolution.

Will ensure compliance with all client'sSDLC processes.

 

Thecandidate must possess:

Strong analytical and problem solvingskills

Strong oral and written communicationskills

The ability to work independently withlimited direction

The ability to adapt to a wide variety ofsituations

Demonstrated experience in multiple testtechniques

Ability to convert Business and Systemrequirements into positive and negative test cases

 

Technicalskill set needed:

5 to 7 years of experience in testing

Experience writing test cases, creatingbug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments

Experience in data validation andcross-system testing

Experience in mainframe and client servertesting

Experience in testing in batch andinteractive mainframe environments

Understanding of retail concepts a plus

Must have Teradata experience to testprocesses
