Required:
Must be familiar with standard database administration tasks (e.g. performing backups, exports, imports, replication configuration, etc)
Experience with high transaction volume environments
Experience with Entity-Attribute-Value models or open schemas
Experience maintaining data integrity by developing complex constraints and triggers
Experience with MySQL high availability strategies (read/write separation, MMM, etc)
Experience with data versioning strategies
Must be familiar working in development teams to analyze and optimize queries and data access
Must be familiar with optimizing MySQL configurations for various applications
Must be able to implement proactive monitoring of MySQL solution to identify events before they become issues
Must be able to do detailed data related post incident analysis
Strong background with LAMP based configurations
Must be able to provide future state visions and recommendations for MySQL and data storage
Desired:
Experience with Magento data schema and queries
Experience with MySQL stored procedures
Proficient with disaster recovery and high availability
Experience with Data Warehousing concepts and strategies
