Position Title: Senior QA Lead

Duration: 12 months

Location: Long Island, NY

Description:

Our client is presently in testing engagement expected to kick off in the next 2-3 weeks,  we need an onsite Test Lead with primary competency in  Performance/Load Testing.   This is a large hospital group and has big potential in terms of account growth. The duration could be long term.   The person will work with the customer onsite from their Long Island location and will have to coordinate with our offshore team during the execution phase.  JD as below:

Required skills and Responsibilities:

·         Overall 10+ years of experience in IT  with a minimum of 7+ years of QA Testing experience focused on Performance/Load Testing.

·         Managed a team of Performance Test Engineers on engagements covering Performance, Load and Stress Testing.

·         Understanding the needs of  Performance/Load Testing for applications and devise appropriate Test Strategy and Test Methodology to execute Performance/Load tests.

·         Keep track of Performance Engineering metrics, increase coverage ratio, and communicating all of this to senior management and all teams.

·         Drive Performance Engineering across all dimensions, including Scalability, Stress and Longevity tests

·         Extensive experience in benchmark testing, performance analysis, and tuning with experience developing software benchmarks.

·         Hands-on  experience in Performance Test Automation tools like  HP  Load Runner/Performance Centre,  Rational Performance Tester etc.

·         Ability to coordinate and manage test engagements using an onsite-offshore engagement delivery model.

·         Need experience in the Health Care industry with exposure to Hospital Management Systems covering Admissions/Registration, Clinical Management and Revenue Management System functionalities.
