BMC Remedy Asset Management Analyst
Location: Bloomington IL
Duration: 1 year
Job Description:
• This role will support the MRO data integrity until retirement and assume support of the BMC asset system (CMDB). SQL experience is a must to support the asset loading process (migration of MRO to
BMC).
• This position is within a high dynamic ITSM team and requires both process and Remedy application experience. The focus of this position will be working with over 150 IT Asset customers world-wide with
varying levels of process maturity. The goal is to define, execute, and monitor execution of one common IT Asset Management Process to ensure IT Assets are being utilized to their full potential.
Process work (70%)
• Knowledge of ITSM process Incident, Change, Problem and Release
Detailed knowledge of IT Asset Management including maintenance, lease and software contracts.
• Previous experience with developing and executing an IT Asset Audit process to ensure the accuracy of the IT Asset data (IT Hardware)
• Previous experience with developing CMDB processes
Nice to have skills
• Previous experience with developing and executing Software Asset Management processes.
• Knowledge of product catalog standards
Remedy Application support (30%)
• Configuration experience with setting up and monitoring normalization and reconciliation jobs within Remedy's CMDB
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL and the ability to update database views and export data to CSV files.
• Ability to trouble shoot errors that occu
• Experience with Seamless SCCM to CMDB software
• Experience with Remedy's integration engine (AIE) to mass load CI data from excel files
• Previous experience with Remedy's software compliance engine.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years experience with:
• BMC Remedy Asset Management Processes (implementation, integration and asset population)
• BMC Remedy CMDB Support
• BMC Remedy Foundation Data Support
• BMC Remedy license management services
• Other skills desired but not necessary:
• Experience with Oracle SQL import / export processes
• SCCM experience
• Experience with Remedy software compliance engine
