urgent need for MYSQL DBA

 

Location: Raleigh NC.

Duration: 6 months

 

Job Description:

• Experience with ndb clustering
• Experience with innodb and MYISAM database engines in MYSQL
• Backup and Disaster Recovery
• Experience in troubleshooting performance issues on MYSQL e.g. how do you troubleshoot a slow running query.

 

Nice to have skills:

• Re-indexing, integrity checking, database Shrinking, log file monitoring
• Experience with Clustered SQL Servers 3 Ability to document and implement SQL server Disaster recovery models
• Must have implemented high availability SQL Server models
• Experience with SQL Server Replication
• Experience with Backups, Restores, jobs, alerts, and processes on SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
• Experience with database and server security
• Understanding of TCP/IP concepts
• Knowledge and familiarity with SQL server 2005 /2008, SSIS, SSRS
• Experience with Windows administration
• Experience with VWware administration MYSQL DBA
