Location: Boston MA
Duration: 6 Months
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) integration work that must be completed to:
• Design, develop and test ODI/ETL processes between Hyperion and Oracle Business Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to support the production of executive dashboards and production of the Governor's Budget document
• Assist in migration of current ODI routines from 10G to 11G
• Develop documentation that outlines the end to end ODI integration processes and jobs
• Develop automation utilities for Hyperion-related ODI routines including MaxL and SQL scripting
• Design, develop and test Capital Budgeting/Hyperion ODI interfaces
• Work with the Commonwealth Technical Resources and overall System Integrator to confirm ODI requirements
• Create ODI processes and jobs to extract metadata and date from relational tables in the integration layer that are sourced from the CIW.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience implementing Oracle products with particular emphasis on experience implementing ODI with OBIEE and Hyperion Financial Planning and Essbase
• 5+ years developing Oracle Data Integrator Enterprise Edition (ODI 10g, ODI 11g) processes and jobs, with particular emphasis on using this product with Hyperion Financial Planning and Essbase
• In depth knowledge of ODI development best practices (such as naming conventions, development standards, automations, migrations, upgrades and testing procedures)
• Experience in solution architecture (installation, configuration, optimization and migrations) for ETL environments
• Experience with customizing ODI knowledge modules
• Experience working with Teradata/Netezza
• Preferred understanding of MaxL and SQL scripting
• Preferred experience with all phases of software development lifecycle from gathering requirements to documentation, testing, implementation and support
• Preferred experience working with Oracle 11gR2
• Preferred experience with ODI 11g
• Preferred experience in creating maps for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) process in ODI
• Ability to train others in the use of the ODI tool
• This candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and have a hands on knowledge of writing Technical Specifications such as Functional and Detail Design Documents.
