This position requires very strong IT and Project Management background. This is for a multi-year project, if candidate's performance is good than extension will be granted for next year.
Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Extensive IT experience in web-based, client/server and reporting environments upgrades.
· Extensive full project life cycle experience, utilizing system development lifecycle methodology documentation guidelines and procedures.
· Active participant in analysis, design, and documentation.
· Worked closely with team members, business managers, and users to insure timely delivery of projects.
· Experienced in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), business analysis, application conceptualization, prototyping, creating and managing teams.
· Strong project management, organizational and interpersonal skills; able to work well at all levels of the organization.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
· Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
· Managed teams of 10-15 people that include Developers, Documentation Specialists, Testers, Network Specialists, and DBAs.
· Manage and mentor teams.
· Experience creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), aligning resources to scope, budgeting, effort estimate, creating phased delivery methods to manage scope creeps or change request.
· Scope tracking with deliverables, managing crucial or priority deliveries.
Required Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience with Project Management, Service Delivery, Legacy Application/Infrastructure Remediation.
· Highly Skilled in Project Management Tools - Planview, Sharepoint, MS Project Server, Excel.
· Extensive experience creating WBS, Project Schedules, Budget, Project Management Methodology, Processes and Procedures.
· Understands Controls and Compliance.
· Project Management Certifications e.g. PMP
