NEED COGNOS/INFORMATICA DEVELOPER 

Location :  WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ 

Duration : 6 months

Rate : open

Job Description:

• Extract and Load data from various sources into a data warehouse, support user community with data extracts and reporting.

• Collect user requirements, translate into technical requirements, perform design and development tasks, testing deployment and support in production. Coordinate with technical platform owners and user community.

• ETL (senior level) + strong SQL + Informatica+ Work flow design.

• Business intelligence (mid-level) + Data extract strategies and organization +

Report generation + COGNOS (version 7 and 8). DB (mid-level) + Logical/physical design + Update/synchronization strategies + Performance tuning + Data warehouse design principles + DB2, ORACLE.

• Ability to work with the Business team and assist in the development of logic calculations and future reporting recommendations.

 

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Four year collage degree in computer science or equivalent professional work experience.

Experience Requirements:

• Database, Informatica and COGNOS development experience is a must.

Special Skills:

• Communication skills and the ability to interact with Business team members, attend meetings and provide status updates as required.

• Power Point and the ability to build any needed presentations
