urgent need for ETL DATASTAGE developer

 

Position Title                         :           ETL Developer

Location                                 :           Southfield MI

Duration                                :           6+ Months

 

Skills

 

ETL Developer: 

The candidate will have strong design, development and testing knowledge in IBM Information Server 8.x DataStage.

The developer will develop, unit test, support and maintain DataStage ETL jobs based on business requirements and technical specifications following project standards.

BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

5+ years experience with IBM Information Server 8.x: DataStage and Quality Stage

5+ years data warehousing experience

 Familiar with DataStage development best practices

Familiar with UNIX operating system and shell scripting (KSH)

Familiar with ORACLE 10g and PL/SQL

Familiar with Mercury Quality Center

Familiar with enterprise scheduling software, esp. Tivoli

Familiar with XML

Understanding of data warehouse concepts, project lifecycle, and roles and responsibilities

Understanding of change management practices

Understanding of data modeling and able to read data models

Able to work in a team and independently and meet timelines

Strong communications skills
