Position: Build and Deploy Developer

Location: Chicago,IL

Duration:4 -6 Months

 

Local Chicago Interview GOOD COMMUNICATION NEEDED

 

Not a lot of Electronic Commander (EC)  people but if they have Jankins or AntiPro that would work.

 

 

 

Skills need

• Perl
• SQL Queries
• Build and Deploy using (electronic commander, Jenkin or AntiPro) If candidate does not have EC but has Jankins or AntiPro, that would work. They are using AntiPro now but moving to EC. The development in EC is Perl based.
• UNIX Environment
• Java Skills (Basic knowledge is helpful as code being automated is in Java and candidate will need to be able to be aware of bugs in the Java Code while being compiled but not required).
• Flyway or Similar is helpful (DBDeploy is one similar)
• Knowledge of Maven and Ant helpful.

 

 

 

Knowledge of workflow. Candidate will implement flyway and develop using Scripting language in Perl, SQL. This is the Destination Map Project and this is an Automation development position.

 

 

An understanding of Java is good, though I don't anticipate a lot of intense Java development work.

This person will have to be a developer with program and automation skills. They should know programming like scripting, JAVA, Unix, Windows, and SQL. Knowing electric Commander is a plus.

They will be performing the initial tasks of:

1. Implement flyway

2. Take scripts already in place and integrate out of Sandbox and into Production workflows
a. work out any issue bugs

3. Implementing workflows into a CD dashboard (Deployment assistance)

4. Move to Electric Commander (part of Electric Cloud).

And then continue helping other teams do similar things. In programming and migration of their work into Electric Commander and CD.
