SQL/ETL Developer
Contract- 6 mos+
San Diego, CA
The SQL Server team is currently working on upgrading hundreds of outdated SQL Server databases. One of the key tasks associated with upgrading older databases is converting the associated SSIS/DTS packages (these are tools utilized for moving data). Due to the large volume of databases that need to be upgraded, the SQL Server team needs a person dedicated to this role.
· Possess experience with converting data from SQL 2000 to SQL Server 2008 R2.
· Responsible for the development, implementation and administration of ETL.
· Provides ongoing maintenance and support for the production ETL processes.
· Understands business requirements and source data systems.
· Ensures standardization of ETL procedures.
· Responsible for the ETL quality control and performance optimization.
· Ability to interact with key stakeholders within the organization.
