Description: Project Management of infrastructure projects (LYNX/Teradata/Operational Recovery/etc). Includes but not limited to end of service life HW/SW upgrades, infrastructure consolidations, Network and Data Center deployments, capacity/growth/performance efforts, and efforts initiated by business units.Utilizes defined Infrastructure Process and tools to delivery projects.
Project managers will manage meetings, build projects plans, maintain budgets, track action items and issues, produce meeting minutes, etc. Prior AT&T - ITO experience is a plus. Previous experience with with VPMO and RET is a huge plus. Night time and weekend work may be required. Maximum billing of 40 hours per week

Project Management:
Directs the efforts of project team(s) using dotted-line authority to deliver a completed product and/or service. Has full accountability for managing larger low complexity to high complexity projects, or projects within programs which may span multiple regions and/or multiple functions; multiple concurrent projects may be managed. Includes estimating, scheduling, coordinating, assigning resources, ensuring that project funding is secured, and assisting in recommending business solutions/alternatives for projects. Assesses, plans for, and manages project risks, issues, jeopardies, escalations and problem resolutions. Manages project scope, project budgeting and cost reporting, and ensures completion of projects while meeting quality, schedule and cost objectives using the organizations standard processes. Acts as project liaison between IT partners, client organizations and IT leadership. May assist in supplier management of existing vendors.
The supplemental project manager will manage approximately 10-15 projects ranging in complexity of server installations, migrations, Teradata Data Warehousing efforts, and Data Center Consolidations.
