Role: Sr. Oracle Apps DBA

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

Our client is in search for a Sr. Oracle Apps DBA for a 9 months contract engagement in South Florida. The qualified candidate will serve as an expert consultant to applications developers to provide expertise on database capabilities and constraints.  Non local candidate must be able to interview on site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs data modeling; develops physical designs that demonstrate trade-offs between logical design and system performance.
• Establishes security and replication procedures.
• Demonstrates expert understanding of database performance tuning, data backup, recovery and security processes/ procedures.
• Expert knowledge of Large Implementations of Oracle E-Business Suite supporting CDH, HVOP, Financial AP and AR.
• Expert knowledge in Oracle RAC Database and Workload management.
• Knowledge of data replication with DataGuard.
• Expert knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications , Workflow, Adconfig, Distributed Patching, Staged Appl Top, PCP.
• Expert knowledge of data architecture and design, database performance and capacity, storage and memory configurations.
• Expert knowledge of SQL Development, Database performance, and Java Performance Optimization and Debugging. 
• Technical Leadership skills. Must be well documented in preparing detailed execution plans and supervision of a managed service. A superior work ethic is required.

• Oracle Database Administrator 10g & 11g  Required  8-10  Years
• Oracle Applications DBA eBusiness Suite 11i  Required  4  Years
• ILM Tools for ERP database- Archive/Purge   Highly desired  2  Years
• Table Re-orgs Strategy and Partitioning   Required  4  Years
• Oracle 11g Database Upgrade and Support   Required  2  Years
