Job Title: Java Portal Architect / Sr. Web Developer

Description:

 

Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM, Business Casual, Not a remote position (This person needs to have managed a team of 4-5 leads) They also will be communicating to clients and stakeholders so communication is a MUST.

This position is on a fast moving, start-up oriented team responsible for the design, construction and integration of ACS/Xerox cloud service offerings. Our cloud services operate in the IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Business Process Utility segments, and will evolve over time into industry aligned vertical clouds serving customers around the globe.

Java Portal Architect / Sr. Web Developer:
ACS is seeking a motivated Portal Architect/Sr Web Developer who will design and implement elegant user interfaces which will bring to life the presentation of data. As architect and hands-on you will work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment as you develop rich user interfaces for enterprise web applications using Portals, Content Management & Web 2.0 technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, significant experience developing front-end web-based applications and a high level of proficiency in Java/JEE technologies and frameworks.

Skills:
*7+ yrs experience using web technologies like GWT, JSF, serverfaces, portletfaces, AJAX, YahooUI, Tomcat etc.
* Expertise in JSR 168/286 Portlet via Liferay, IBM or BEA frameworks, including basic lifecycle serving Ajax data from the portlet.
* Solid experience with Spring MVC, JSP, JSTL
* Solid experience in HTML5, XHTML, jQuery, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JSF, DOM, JSON
* Web technologies, protocols, and tools
* Rich Internet Applications (RIA) frameworks such as Vaadin or Flex.
* Experience with content management systems
* Extensive experience with cross browser issues
* Java - j2ee design patterns and its use
* Hibernate - How to retrieve data from database using Hibernate
* Business process management (BPM) and/or mobile web experience is a plus

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, Masters preferred
