WEBSPHERE APLLICATION SERVER SPECIALIST-Perm opportunity

LOCATION:    ROSELAND, NJ

 

 MUST HAVES:

 

• Minimum of 3 to 8  Years experience in IT

• WebSphere Application Server engineering/administration experience (certifications desirable)

• Systems Engineering/Administration experience building and configuring system infrastructures in support of web-based applications.

• Experience as a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and/or WebSphere Portal administrator including resource configuration, application deployment, application debugging/tuning with WAS V5 and above

• Experience with J2EE/Java development in a WebSphere environment.

• Working knowledge of HTML, XML, and scripting tools.

• Functional knowledge of and hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting..

• Must be available to provide 24x7 on-call support to troubleshoot and resolve system problems of a complex nature

• Must possess a knowledge of Microsoft office products, Visio, PowerPoint and effectively utilizing these tools to develop system documentation such as run books, system topology diagrams, hardware/software specifications.

 

 

Desired Skills:

• Java/J2EE development experience

• Certifications in WebSphere Administration
