Position:ETL Developer
Location: Oklahoma.
Duration:6 Months
Project Description:
In this role you will be a part of a team who provides production support for various Supply Chain applications. Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved with production support, application support, functional/technical analysis and/or maintenance of existing applications.
The senior team member will demonstrate a common sense approach to issue resolution, the ability to make decisions with little supervision, and work well within a team environment. You will be working with multiple subsystems and be able to relate those to system requirements and design. You will also be working directly with clients to define and resolve application issues. This position requires 24 x7 x365 on-call rotation and be adaptable to high paced and tense severity 1 issues resolution.
Job Description:
•Work closely with other teams to understand new application releases and assist in deployment of enhancements into production
•Responsible to carefully monitor for reliability, availability, of all production applications. Communicate openly and provide regular updates with team members, peers and senior leadership regarding production performance SLAs and issues
•Project management, and change management, are integral parts of most assignments
•Flexibility for working multiple issues simultaneously; propensity for short cycle times
•Ensure AOTS tickets are processed in a timely manner according the SLA ticket metrics.
•Ability to drive action through knowledge, influence and professional respect with limited supervision
•Strong teamwork ethics
Required Qualifications:
•7 or more years production support technical experience
•Must understand and have experience working with customers to understand application issues and implementing solutions that meet customer expectations
•Formal training or hands on experience in the following technical skills may be required:
UNIX scripting (very strong)
Oracle (very strong)
SQL (very strong)
Informatica (some experince)
Weblogic (some experince)
Desired Qualifications:
•BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field
•Enterprise wide support for mission critical applications for major releases, both business and infrastructure related
•Develop technical documentation on applications and systems
•Takes initiative, quick learner and desire to seek answers from test team members and other groups
•Ability to work with technical and business-oriented teams
