Web UI Tester - 5 Positions
Location: Marlboro, MA (Face to Face required after telephonic)
Duration: 3-6 months
Will need 2 QA people. 1 for UI. 1 for Back-End, best fit is if they have BOTH.
Client will need 5-6 contractors. 1 UI, 3-4 that have UI and SW, and 1 SW backend.
Work can be done OFFSITE - with 1 day onsite in Marlboro MA. Dial in for SCRUM meetings.
QA Tester needed for Web Based UI and Software Platform.
Testing a Rich WEB Based UI Javascript JQuery AJAX HTML5 CSS Drag & Drop.
Testing a Software Platform is written in Java Tomcat (Non-J2ee Stack) Lots of OpenSource, Spring, Hibernate.
Platform connects a wide variety of Security devices, Video Recording, Storage, Alarms, Controls, Alerts, Monitoring, etc.
QA Tester should come from an Engineering background. In addition to Software TEST, and UNIT TEST. Type of QA Testers that can set up equipment, piece together the environment, to simulate the larger system. Create a Mini-Lab. (Not a good fit for a QA Tester who doesn't create their own environment)
People who will succeed here know and understand IP Networks, Protocols Converters, Feeds from Sensors, HW, and OPC. IP feeds to SW Platform come from Alert Control System, Cameras, Recorders, Security Alerts, Software for Real Time, Performance and Scale issues, UI's for Devices.
