Title: Enterprise Network Assessment Project Manager

Location: Austin (TX)

Duration: 03 Months





Required Competencies:

• Oversee the HHS Enterprise Network Assessment project activities

across functional HHS agency systems and other state entities and

coordinate, planning, and scheduling during project development and

implementation stages.

• Assist with the development and implement strategic planning actions

and policy decisions and makes recommendations to the Director of

Infrastructure Services/Contract Manager concerning the direction of

the agency's efforts.

• Oversees the preparation of charts, diagrams, and tables that depict

the present and proposed systems in terms of costs, benefits derived,

and tasks accomplished.

• Analyzes existing process efficiency and effectiveness.

• Determines operational, technical, and support requirements for the

location, installation, operation, and maintenance of enterprise based

telecommunications support services.

• Formulates logical descriptions of problems and devises optimum

solutions.

• Provide input for executive briefings

• Ability to analyze systems and procedures; to write and revise

standards and procedures; to communicate effectively; and to plan,

assign, and/or supervise the work of others.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power point)

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Project

• Good understanding of ITIL foundations

• Highly experienced in Team Building and Development concepts(local &

remote teams)

• Good Interpersonal and Facilitation skills

• Experience in Network Managed Services and offerings a plus

• Experience in Agile project management and scrum concepts a plus

Minimum Requirements:



Years Skills/Experience

8 Ability to plan and accomplish goals, independently and perform a

variety of complicated tasks with a wide degree of creativity and

latitude.

8 Ability to manage a technical organization with responsibility for a

customer base

8 Experience in overall responsibility for results in a collaborative

environment, requiring close coordination with multiple teams in order

to successfully accomplish goals.

8 Demonstrated ability for setting overall strategy and customer

relationship building, community positioning, and working with other

departments to accomplish goals.

8 Enterprise level Project Management deliver

5 Years of direct work with MS Projec

5 Demonstrated ability for meeting project objectives for local

network services and data network (MPLS, T1, DS3, OC-3, 12, etc.)

5 Experience in Virtual Private Network architecture and concepts

5 Demonstrated ability and responsibility for implementation of a

large regional/state wide data networking and managed services

project.
