Ideal candidate should have several years experience creating applications from business requirements provided by the client.  This person should not be able to just code but think outside the box to come up with solutions for complex business requirements.  The candidate should have a minimum of 4-5 years experience developing, deploying, and supporting multi-tiered enterprise applications.  It is nice to have someone that knows grails but if they have great spring, hibernate, jsp/servlet experience and core java then they will be just fine in a grails environment.  Candidate should have good written and oral communication skills.
