Project Description:

(What project will the NPW be working on?)

Dedicated resource to assist in the design, implementation and steady state support of all network and network security technologies and environments. These include Cisco, Bluecoat, Riverbed, F5 and Juniper brands with productions ranging from Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN concentrators, Wireless access points, Load Balancers, internet proxies, URL filtering devices, AV scanners, sniffers, WAN Optimization appliances and Network Traffic Shapers. The resource will be required to work in a demanding environment with off and on hours scheduled changes in the environments listed

 

Job Description:

(What will the NPW do on that project?)

- Experienced in LAN/WAN Switching and Routing (Switch and Router Configuration)

- Experienced in Load Balancers Configuration (F5 BIG-IP solutions and Cisco ASA)

- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP protocol (ARP, ICMP, UDP, TCP, etc.), also in Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and static routes)and in Firewall Configuration (CISCO PIX and CHECKPOINT)

- Knowledge of CISCO WAES solutions

- Knowledge of Cisco IOS

- Checkpoint/Nokia and Cisco products technical skills

- At least 5 years experience.

- Configuration, troubleshooting and support skills with Cisco and Juniper network.

- CCNP/CCIE certified or equivalent skills

- Good communication and team work skills
