Position:   QA Testing Analyst (5371)

Location:  Milwaukee, WI

Duration:  6-12 Months

 

F2F is Required


 

Must have strong EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and debit card with ATM; ideal candidate will have Connex Advantage experience

We Will consider remote candidates, however will need to travel to Milwaukee for training.

GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Job Description:        The FIS EFT Conversion Analyst is responsible for leading and supporting financial institutions upgrade activities associated with EFT processing and their online host link. This individual will work in an application which offers support and implementations to existing ATM terminal and card clients with online host links.

 

PRIMARY FUNCTION

To provide an overall testing role for the EFT transaction switch upgrade. The testing analyst will be responsible for the testing of ISO 8583 messages from the Connex Advantage switch to the clients deposit application. During the implementation process, the analyst is responsible for tracking tasks related to the project, requesting application changes, as well as client support throughout the upgrade process.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects with various degrees of complexity within a desired timeframe

• Measure, manage, and communicate project expectations on a timely basis

• Maintains and uses test scripts, utilities,, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans

• Interacts with clients and their vendors to define project requirements

• Communicate with all parties to ensure a clear understanding of the testing process

• Assists in the in the coordination of additional suppliers

• Works with internal and external suppliers to complete testing activities, including early morning migration support

• Assists in defining priority, tracking, and managing issue resolution

 

 

SKILLS

Individual must be able to establish strong working relationships across all internal suppliers from all FIS affiliates. The successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty, with minimal supervision, partnering with clients and others, to achieve a high degree of efficiency and quality. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and competency with Microsoft Products Suite.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience supporting or working within an EFT environment. Experience in debit card processing with telecom network and Base24, and Connex knowledge desired. College degree or equivalent experience desired.
