Sr. SAS Data warehouse Analyst

1.    Location: Arlington, VA

Duration: 9-12 months

 

Responsibilities:

Evaluate loan modification data in our existing SAS data warehouse. Examine modification files provided to determine the existence of data elements available but not currently captured. Work with the SAS ETL team manager to (1) enhance existing data capture processes (2) retro-actively capture additional fields where available (3) propose a new data structure (4) enhance existing quality control measures and (5) automate wherever possible. Catalog fields that are desired but unavailable. Work alongside the operations team to try and obtain these desired data elements.

Review existing reports and reporting processes on modified loans. Meet with and interview report recipients to document types of usage and desired enhancements. Work alongside the analysis manager to propose and implement additional reports, and enhancements to existing reports.

 

Minimum Professional and Technical Skills:

·         5+ years overall work experience, 2-4 years working with mortgage or consumer loan data, 1+ years working with modifications

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         SAS data warehousing experience is a must

·         ETL experience is required

·         Business Analysis experience is preferred
