Our Client, the leading developer of interactive airport training programs, is looking for a talented individual to fill a developer/programmer position. We are looking for a strong object-oriented programmer to help with developing interactive courses using video for large portions of content and expanding the functions/features of our open architecture LMS. The job requires working with existing Flash templates and developing new code to support our courseware and PHP to support our LMS. The initial position is a temporary three-month contract and could become permanent based on additional projects and new needs.
Our multimedia division works on airport industry leading programs that include FAA/TSA regulations, international security, mass transportation and/or emergency response. The successful applicant will need strong technical skills and must be able to work well within a team structure while thinking openly, working efficiently and enjoying a fast-paced, creative environment. Our Creative Services team works on internal and external projects involving a variety of production needs ranging from programming that supports instructional design and graphics, multimedia rich content development, and the creation of new course content to the re-purposing of existing training material.
· Component Development in Action Script a must. · Minimum 5 years applications software development experience.3+ years of solid experience in all versions of Flex, and well versed in Flex 4.0 features. Will be developing in Flex 4.5 · Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills · Experienced in full life cycle dev
SKILLS · Candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to work well independently and in team environments. The ability to handle multiple projects, meet aggressive timelines, and be flexible to evolving requirements is a must. · 5 years experience in fast consulting or development environment with tight deadlines. · Ability to rapidly develop front-end prototypes for user testing and demonstrations. · Ability to integrate client-end code with a variety of server side frameworks. · Be able to develop code from Customer Requirements, Workflow Descriptions, Wire Frames, Photoshop Comps, · Screen Specifications and Site Maps. · Experience developing technical requirements and User Interface specifications. · Experience with web services using Flash. Knowledge of Flex UI components as well as design & development of custom Flex components. · Experience integrating media designs in Flash into Flex with FMS working with web services, and exposure to BlazeDS are plusses. · Flex CSS, Design, and Effects. · FLEX, Flash, ActionScript, MXML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS · Excellent problem solving skills / ability to work well under pressure · 3D Modeling Skills a plus · Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash) desirable. · Experience with Adobe AIR a bonus
