Qualifications:
Senior ETL Developer/Analyst. 4-8 years IT experience, with hands-on experience in providing data warehousing solutions. Technically strong in ETL concept, design and development using tools like Data Stage 7.5, Sunopsis 4.1 and database utilities (Oracle and Teradata).
Candidates should have domain knowledge in Financial and Sales and Marketing Analytics business areas.
Must possess the following technical skills:
o ETL Tools: Datastage 7.5, Sunopsis 3.2/4.1
o Databases & Utilities: NCR Teradata & utilities, Oracle 8i/9i/10g, PL/SQL, SQL Loader
o Platforms: NCR/AIX Unix and shell scripting
o Interface Tools: Connect Direct, Secured FTP, DB2 Connect
o Jobs Schedulers (preferably Control-M) Knowledge of FSLDM and modelling concept is a plus A self-motivated personality, and able to work efficiently by himself/herself, as well as, in a team.
Responsibilities:
*Job Description: The ETL Developer will be responsible for analyzing the business requirements, design, develop and implement highly efficient, highly scalable ETL processes. Candidate is required to perform daily and project functions with a focus on meeting the business objectives on time within a rapidly changing work environment.
*Responsibilities: Work closely with the Solution Architect, Data Modeller, Data Mapper, Business Analysts to understand business requirements, providing expert knowledge and solutions on Data Warehousing, ensuring delivery of business needs in a timely cost-effective manner. Evaluate and design data collection, data staging, data movement, analytics delivery, data quality. Data profiling, source-target mappings, ETL development, SQL tunings and optimization, testing and implementation. Provides detailed technical specifications and ETL documentations required in each phase of the SDLC, and complies to internal standards and guidelines
