Urgent: ECC Administration/Storage Skills

Location: Columbus OH

Start: 11/28

Duration: 6 months – will be long term if person performs

Rate Range: $50 all inclusive

Position: SAN Administrator

 

The Role is Primarily ECC Administration with multiple skills in Storage tools.

 

1.       Storage tools administration position where the candidate should be able to work in a highly distributed environment that consists of multiple datacenters and multiple instances of storage tools managing storage systems.

 

2.       The Storage tools include,

 

a.        EMC Ionix Control Center UB9

(experience in Upgrading Planning and implementing IONIX Control Center(ECC),
Patching to Newer available versions when needed,
Configure Alerts and manage alerts respond to Production calls regarding alert configuration and New Policy builds for Managing Storage systems,
Resolving Access issues,
Windows Administration,
Scripting (any) ,
Unix administration,
Basic Storage administration knowledge,
Performance Manager related issue resolution such as WLA,
Discovering and managing new Symmetrix and Clariion Storage instances in Control Center)

 

b.      SPA Symmetrix Performance Analyzer
(Experience working on SPA and SMC in a distributed environment, Installation, planning, upgrading and implementation skills.
Discovering New Symmetrix and managing the tool in order to provide live Performance View for Symmetrix/VMAX storage tools.)

c.       Other Skills that would be a Plus
NetApp – Sanscreen (administration)
NetApp – DFM/Operations Manager

Understand Change Management systems and follow Company Guide Lines and Good Documentation Skills.
