JOB TITLE is Development Integrator position
System Integrator ($50-80 DOQ)
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain operating system servers in support of business requirements.
• Perform software installations and upgrades to hardware and operating system software.
• Maintain and manage source code using RCS and Clearcase.
Perform product software builds and installations in a multi server environment.
• System Administration for product development environment.
• Assist software developers in a product development environment
• Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
• Work with delivery personnel directly to support development and production environments.
• Direct communication with software team and project management.
Qualifications & Expectations:
• Must have a 4 year college degree or, in lieu of, 10+ years of professional work experience in a similar position working for a large enterprise software company.
• 2+ years of experience in a Software Development environment.
• Working knowledge of Unix, MS Windows & command line skills
• Must be comfortable in an open communication environment, team experience
• Strong work ethic
• Self-starter with ability to acquire new skills autonomously
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical ability and communications skills
• Must be able to work with and leverage skills from other teams in the organization
• This position may require travel to other development or customer sites in North America and Europe
Desired Skills and Experience (nice to have):
• Experience with administering source control management
• Experience with shell-scripting
• Experience with software development that uses databases
• Experience with C, C++, Pascal, Fortran
• Experience with AIX, Linux (Red Hat), and Solaris.
• Experience with virtualization platforms
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
