Job Title: SAP Basis Admin
Location: Corning, NY
Duration: 6+ Month

Required Skills:
Strong oracle DBA managing SAP systems
Strong BASIS admin with minimum 4 years of production environment in ECC and other systems
Experience with Windows Servers, Linux, and Oracle 11g is required
Setup and design of high availability environment with Oracle and SAP
Experience with Backup, Refresh  and disaster recovery for SAP
Strong Monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning experience with both Oracle and SAP
Strong experience with Oracle and SAP upgrades and support packages
Experience with transport change requests across SAP landscapes
Strong experience with installation and deployment of new SAP systems
Experience with SAP security
Willing to participate in an on-call rotation schedule

Responsibilities:
Operation of SAP system through database and system administration.
Technical advisor to SAP business team
Participate in new SAP projects implementation
Advising operations team with SAP and database best practices and  guidelines
work independently, or as part of a team, to analyze and resolve operational and project related  issues with the SAP environment, work with other Database Administrators in resolving common hardware, operating system and database problems and other duties as required.
