Project Description:
Responsible for data mining and program performance reporting with heavy statistical emphasis on mobility network build programs utilizing SQL Datamart and/or Oracle database. Defines and develops reporting enhancements. Assesses SQL automated processes for effectiveness and recommends enhancements and or changes. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business processes.
Job Description:
Primary responsibilities are to support urgent team needs, which may include:
Proven ability to work with the end user to gather requirements and interpret the requirements so that reports can be created to meet their needs.
Responsible for understanding mobility program processes and milestone data to rationalize complex reporting scenarios.
Responsible for constructing reports that are geographically illustrative of the network process trends and performance.
Requires strong data analyst and report design skills (using T-SQL, Access, Business Objects, Excel, SQL Server) leveraging existing report templates and/or developing new ad-hoc reports.
Ensuring accurate data is being captured to support reporting & analysis needs.
Responsible for creation of operational reporting and dashboards.
Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Possesses excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Requires strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
Work with the users in a customer facing aspect for troubleshooting system issues by monitoring and responding to user support requests - responding to user needs, educating users on best practices, handling special change requests, facilitate the completion of requests that do not fit the standard process, perform nightly data uploads to system (change requests and new project uploads)
Support end user training, answering user questions, and create ad hoc reporting to support their needs.
Provide clear user communications through internal SharePoint site and/or email distribution.
Either experienced or have an understanding of SQL Server development, building SSIS packages. Work with System Admin to implement new data services (e.g. packages, processes) and manage current architecture and inventory of tables, views, etc.
Experienced with Business Objects, Oracle, JavaScript, .NET, VB.NET.
Experienced with programming and web languages: SQL, VB, VBA, PHP, HTML, SAS
