Urgent need for Informatica developer with SAP or HYPERION

Location: San Deigo CA

Duration: 6 months

 

Informatica Role:

• This individual needs to perform the following duties as a Informatica Developer
• Supporting Data Warehouse ETL using Informatica 8.1.1
• Model and Develop Informatica extract transform and load code to bring data into oracle data warehouse
• Write source to target mapping documents
• Provide development estimates based upon design documents
• Extract and load data from SAP, Hyperion, Oracle databases and xls files
• Ability to load data into DW using standard methodologies
• Understand and maintain  Framework Manager Data Models
• Work within team environment and coordinate work assignments
• Provide estimates of work effort and status on work completion
• Communication of work/task issues and additional effort needed to complete task before task is due

 

Skills:

• 6+ years of formal IT application system experience in a data warehouse and reporting system.
• 5 years experience with Informatica
• 5+ years SQL Query
• Experience working with data warehousing projects and teams.
• Experience writing complex queries on Oracle database is required

-       ETL experience with SAP, Hyperion, Oracle databases and xls files

-       Ability to understand transformation logic and document in mapping documents that reflect code

-       Understand data modeling concepts and be able to model data in star and dimensional format

-       Ability to develop in complex data logic in Informatica

• Ability to follow the documented instructions and work/resolve independently.
