QA Tester with Capital Market or Banking

Location: Pasadena, CA

Duration: 12 Months+

 

Collaborate with business systems analysts and application development to ensure high quality delivery of technology solutions to business partners.  Author test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases to support manual and automated testing cycles, execute test cases and support users through User Acceptance testing phases. 

 

Skills/Knowledge:

•         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience required. 

•         Three years of progressively responsible experience in business systems analysis, systems development, testing and/or quality assurance.

•         Must have experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies in an Agile or waterfall environment.

•         Capital market and/or Banking/Financial Services experience highly desired.  Experience with business systems in capital markets (i.e., Calypso) strongly preferred.

•         Two years demonstrated experience in writing test scenarios and executing manual test cases.

•         Experience in testing both application and infrastructure technology solutions desired.

•         Experience with HP Quality Center, FitNesse and/or Test Environment management highly desirable.

•         Exposure to working with off-shore Quality Assurance resources preferred.

•         Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
