Title Role: Web Graphics Designer

Duration: 6months and extendible

Job Description

Our IT Development team is seeking a highly creative individual to be responsible for overall design for the product website including layout, color schemes, type styles, and graphic treatments.   This position will be responsible for the design and construction of web pages including incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques.  The incumbent will be evaluating and designing visual human interfaces, utilizing user-centered design principals.  Ongoing design and maintenance of the website with regard to promos, ad banners, seasonal content specials, as well as custom content for partners and end users will be required.

Required Experience

• Associates degree required or BSCS
• Five or more years of experience in Graphic Design.
• Knowledge of DHTML, JavaScript, HTML standards.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks.
• Knowledge of Flash
• Experience with Java technology.
• Ability to convert PSDs into pixel-perfect CSS/HTML.
• Extensive knowledge of standards-compatible CSS2/3, semantic HTML4/5, and unobtrusive JavaScript.
• Expert development experience with advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work comfortably with JavaScript frameworks. (JQuery) And be able to debug legacy JavaScript.
