Title: Senior SAS application developer
Duration: 6 months plus
Location: Port Washington, NY

Interview Type: Face to Face required fallows Telephonic round

Job Description:

• The successful candidate will have experience with gathering requirements, designing, implementing and testing applications.
• Developers will be creating stable, long-lasting applications for a wide range of users and must demonstrate good software development practices.
• Additionally the programmer will support analytic functions, produce custom reporting decks, and create business intelligence infrastructure for the business user.
• Programmers will access large data in the terabyte range from a variety of sources, including Sybase IQ, Oracle, flat files and PC Files. Business Intelligence will be served to the business using a combination of Stored Processes, OLAP Cubes, Web Reports and Portlets.
• This is a great company with opportunity for technical and professional growth. Applicants must work on site in Port Washington, NY.

Skill set :

•  Applicants must have experience with BASE, MACRO, Enterprise Guide, ACCESS Engines to Relational Databases (Oracle, ODBC, OLE, Sybase IQ ), and SQL, as well as good communication skills with non-technical users.
• SAS Desired experience includes Business Intelligence Platform products, such as Stored Process creation, Add-In for Microsoft Office, GRAPH, SAS Management Console, Web Report Studio, OLAP Cube Studio, Information Map Studio, and Information Delivery Portal. SAS Useful experience includes ODS, STAT, GRAPH, OR, ETS, CONNECT, GIS, Enterprise Miner, Marketing Automation/Campaign Management, Integration Technologies.
• Other Desired Skills: HTML, Javascript, Java,
• Operating Systems: Linux, AIX, Windows.

Job Description:

• The successful candidate will have experience with SAS BI products such as Marketing Automation.
• Developers will be defining the environment for Customer Intelligence Studio, creating reports and dashboards for the portal, as well as developing BI deliverables for other aspects of our business using a combination of Stored Processes, OLAP Cubes, Web Reports and Portlets.
• This is a great company with opportunity for technical and professional growth. Applicants must work on site in Port Washington, NY.

Skill set :

• Applicants must have experience with SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence including SAS Management Console, Web Report Studio, OLAP Cube Studio, Information Map Studio and Information Delivery Portal. Experience with Customer Intelligence Studio is highly desirable.
