Position: Systems Management Specialist - AIX/UNIX
Duration: 1 year
Location: Fort Worth TX and remote (primarily)
Rate:(All inclusive for remote + expenses paid when travel required)
Required skills:
Project / Product Name Skills PureScale (dev/Trial, Prod): AIX, GPFS, Tivoli Systems Automation, Infiniband Network switches Optim: AIX, Intel, SQL dbase, data warehouse Vordel: AIX Informatica on MidTier: AIX, DB2 MQ: AIX Guardium - this is an appliance. Someone with experience on installing / implementing on SAP servers.
Description: Mid-level candidate who is familiar with supporting various operating systems (i.e. Windows, Linux, and AIX). Someone who is sharp, can work independently, strong communication (both verbal and written) skills, and willing to go through training to install and support various applications.
Most of projects are on AIX, however, exposure to all 3 OS on Intel and AIX platforms is preferable.
The products we would like them to have knowledge of are listed above, by project - note the project name is also the product that is being rolled out.
This person will report into the SDMs and provide support for projects as well as steady state activities.
He/she will be expected be on call (rotation with other SAs)
Resource will be expected to be on call (rotation with other SAs). Work will be primarily remote.
There will be a few times where this person will need to travel - most likely to customer site in Fort Worth, TX - to take classes on how to install certain software and work on site with the technical teams.
Travel durations will vary and could be several weeks straight.
