Data Business Analyst

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Duration: 6 Months +

 

Description:

·                     Strong working experience in the Data Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Testing of Data Warehousing using Data Conversions, Data Extraction, Data Transformation and Data Loading (ETL).

·                     Strong Experiece working with Investment banks and excellent knowledge of Capital Markets domain

·                     Review high level and low-level requirements on the project

·                     Interact with Data custodian and dev team for Data Profiling

·                     Define Test Data Requirements

·                     Identify up/downstream-gaps

·                     Create Master & Supplementary Test Plan (Test Objectives, Strategy, Schedule, Milestones & deliverables).

·                     Work with test & dev lead in creating test scripts

·                     Test Data preparation and sufficiency check

·                     Pre and Post Data validation for ensuring data quality

·                     Monitor project progress against plan and recommend Preventive /corrective actions

·                     Ensure appropriate sign-offs are available for the team at required times

·                     Monitor risks & plan/ implement mitigation activities

·                     Conduct Defect Meetings
