We currently have an Immediate opportunity for JDEdwards Upgrade Consultant for a 4-6 months contract and expected to extension with our client located in Austin, TX.

 

Description:

JDEdwards Upgrade Consultant  for 4-6 month with possible extension

Scope for the Project

Migrate from i5.3 to i7.1 with JDE application fixes
Migrating from internal disk to external disk on system i  (ASP to ISAP)
Migrate from the current 595 with internal disk to new power 770 external disk V7000
Build and implement a migration and test plan for successful upgrade of JDE and 1000 application interfaces
Implement Flash Copy with system i to reduce backup windows and provide re-storable copies of production

Scope of Experience
High End JDE and system i experience
Project management experience
Managed JDE application upgrade or migration
Managed an iSeries migration
Managed an iSeries IASP migration
Someone who has experience with managing, reporting and coordinating application and functional test plans
Someone who knows about JDE XE on i series
Someone who has worked with i series OS upgrades
Someone who can build and manage a detailed project plan for system I
